Mortgage Calculator Pro Help for Wix

1. Install

Add the calculator to a Wix page

Install Mortgage Calculator Pro from its Wix App Market listing.
Open the Wix Editor for the site where the app is installed.
Open Add Elements / App Widgets (wording can vary by editor surface) and add Mortgage Calculator Pro to the page.
Resize or position the widget to fit the page. The calculator is responsive and its content height can change as results expand.
Open the widget's Settings action to configure labels, defaults and appearance.
Publish the Wix site after editor changes. Saving settings in the editor does not by itself publish page changes to visitors.

2. Configure

Set useful defaults without hiding the calculator behind a form

Calculator defaults

Choose starting assumptions such as home price, down payment, interest rate, loan term and optional taxes, insurance, PMI or HOA values. Visitors can adjust the values on the live calculator.

Appearance

Basic styling remains available on Free so the calculator can fit the Wix site. Use readable contrast and test desktop and mobile widths before publishing.

Owner settings

The app dashboard contains account-level settings and paid workflows. Do not place Wix credentials or secrets in ordinary app settings fields.

Subscriptions and upgrades are handled by Wix. If a newly purchased plan does not appear immediately, reopen/refresh the app dashboard and widget after Wix finishes updating the app instance.

4. Pro Leads

Use lead capture as an optional visitor action

Consent first

The core calculator does not require a contact form. Pro Leads can offer email results and capture contact information only when the visitor affirmatively consents to submit it.

Dashboard follow-up

Use the owner dashboard to review submitted leads. Treat visitor information according to your own site privacy notice, applicable law and the purpose for which the visitor submitted it.

Webhooks

Pro Leads webhooks are queued after a consented lead is saved. Configure the final public HTTPS endpoint, reveal the signing secret in Account settings, and verify X-REP-Webhook-Signature against the raw request body. Use X-REP-Webhook-Id to deduplicate retries. Private/internal destinations and redirects are blocked.

5. Troubleshooting

Check these before opening a support request

I changed settings but the public site still looks old.

Confirm you changed the intended widget instance, then publish the Wix site. Reload the published page after publishing; editor state and live-site state are not the same thing.

A paid feature still looks locked after upgrading.

Open the app dashboard again so the app can reconcile the current Wix plan, then refresh the editor/live page. If the plan remains wrong, include the plan name shown in Wix and the affected site name in your support request. Do not send payment details or authorization tokens.

The calculator loads but a result looks unexpected.

Record the non-sensitive input assumptions—price, down payment, rate, term, taxes, insurance, PMI and HOA—and compare them with the values shown in the widget. Calculator results are estimates, not lender quotes.

The widget does not appear on the live page.

Verify the widget is on the intended page, is not hidden at the relevant breakpoint, and that the site was published after adding it. Also test the published URL in a current browser with content blockers temporarily disabled.

My Pro Leads webhook is not arriving.

Open Account settings and review the recent webhook delivery status. Confirm the endpoint is the final public HTTPS URL on port 443, does not redirect, and accepts POSTed JSON. Use Send test after saving. HTTP 408/425/429 and server errors are retried automatically; other 4xx responses normally require correcting the receiver.

What should I send to support?

Send the app name/version, the Wix site name, browser/device, whether the problem occurs in Editor/Preview/Published site/dashboard, exact error text, reproduction steps and sanitized screenshots. Never send passwords, Wix tokens, app secrets, private keys, bank credentials, card details or SSNs.
